The company Canon has been in business since 1933, it was established by Goro Yoshida and his brother in law Saburo Uchida. The company started out under the name Precision Optical Instruments Laboratory. In June of 1934, they released their fist camera called Kwanon which is named after the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy. The next year they changed the name of the company to Canon to make it appear more modern for r that time. On August 10, 1937, the company was we know it today was founded.
Canon is one of the leaders in electronics today. They have some of the best printers around. Some of the best are The MP600; this is a very high quality inkjet printer. It can print 30 Black and White pages per minute, it can print 24 color documents per minute, the dpi in black and white is 600 x 600 and in color it is 9600 x 2400. The tray capacity is 300 sheets of paper. The pro of this printer is that it does high amount of prints and fast prints as well, it has a dual paper tray with a built in duplexer. The cons are that is has no fax capacity or ADF and it lacks film scanning.
The Canon Pixma MP830, it can print 30 pages per Black and White per minute, it can do 24 color pages per minute. The maximum dpi per black and white page is 600 x 600 and in color it is 2400 x 4800. The paper tray capacity is 150. The pros of this printer is that it has the best rated performance in every way, it does include a fax and a duplex ADF capabilities and the only con of it is there is no Wi-Fi or Ethernet networking options.
